ALABAMA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

This position is located in the Fiscal Accounting Branch, US Property and Fiscal Office (USP&FO). Its purpose is to serve as Chief of Accounting Operations. The office is the accounting focal point for receiving, controlling, validating, recording, and analyzing (from a data integrity perspective) all recorded appropriated fund or Treasury account transactions affecting funds or USP&FO accountability.

EXCEPTED POSITION: Alabama Army National Guard membership is required.

*INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT:  THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED AS AN INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT FOR AN UNSPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME.  THE INCUMBENT MAY BE TERMINATED UPON RECEIVING A 30 DAY NOTICE.   SHOULD THIS POSITION BECOME PERMANENT, THE INDIVIDUAL MAY BE CONVERTED TO PERMANENT STATUS WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION (AND UPON RECOMMENDATION OF SUPERVISOR AND APPROVING AUTHORITY).
