Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Serves as a Senior Program Analyst and lead in a project office with complete delegated responsibility for managing a major portion of the program financial management and review and analysis functions.

 

This position is temporary and may be extended under certain circumstances in one year increments.

 

This position may be filled by temporary reassignment in one year increments.

 

This position may be filled by temporary promotion and may be extended up to a maximum of five years.

 

Competitive temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition.

 

Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.

Current Army employees with competitive status (includes Army employees serving on a career conditional appointment).

This announcement may be used for 6 months from the initial issuance of this referral to fill similar positions. Applications submitted under this vacancy announcement may be used up to 6 months to fill like positions permanently or by temporary promotion/temporary reassignment which may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and may be converted to permanent without further competition.
