JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:  Serves as  an expert historical researcher, responsible for developing, analyzing, organizing, planning, coordinating and producing Army Signal operations doctrine and related materials (i.e., special studies, etc.,).  Focus of work will be on strategic operations, operational planning requirements, and Signal operations as it relates to Army Full Spectrum Operations and the War Fighting Functions. To be successful in this position the incumbent should have superior communication skills and the ability to deliver oral briefings on highly complex technical issues/topics to senior management officials.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI/SBI.

US citizenship is required.

Position requires temporary duty (TDY) up to 20% of the time.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) may or may not be authorized.

Defense National Relocation Program (DNRP) is NOT authorized.

Advanced In-Hire Rate is NOT authorized.
