Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement

 

Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

AREA OF CONSIDERATION

 Open to current enlisted members of the Colorado Army National Guard.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT

 EMOS 25 Series

MAXIMUM MILITARY GRADE

 E-7

MINIMUM MILITARY GRADE

 E-4

 

This position is located in the Colorado National Guard JFHQ G-1.   Its purpose is to serve as a technical expert for database administration in the state.   Administers multiple relational database management systems (RDBMS) and software packages residing on multiple hardware and software platforms.

 

This position has promotion potential for GS-11.  The conversion to GS-11 without further competition will occur when the following conditions are met:

 

1.   Incumbent must have accumulated 36 months of experience at the GS-09 level in Qualification Standard 2210, dated August 2010,

      or a similar IT technician position.

 

2.   Incumbent must not be subject to any disciplinary action to include letters of reprimand and or performance improvement plan(s) at

      the time of conversion to GS-11.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold the grade of E-4 to E-7

Compatible Military Assignment MOS 25 Series
