You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting the needs of the Fiscal Services and Accounts Receivable Office. Would you enjoy ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of Government accounting? Responsibilities include: the reconciliation of subsidiary accounts to the general ledger control accounts for unliquidated obligations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; analyzing and preparing payments for all types of government obligations; developing and recommending changes to forms or procedures to prevent a recurrence of any identified processing problems or ways to improve; and making corrections and adjustments as required to ensure that valid coding has been used and will be accepted by the accounting system in a timely manner.

Upon completion of assignment, the incumbent will be returned to a position within his/her former organization to a similar position and original grade level from which the original temporary promotion was made.
