About the Position: Serve at the Center For Army Lessons Learned (CALL) as the Army Aviation, Senior Military Analyst in support of the information processing and analysis effort for the Movement and Maneuver War Fighter Functional Team (WfF) in all areas, with emphasis in Aviation.

Who May Apply:

  • Current Army employee with competitive status - You must attach your most recent non-award SF-50 as proof of eligibility (current SF-50 block 24 Tenure states "1" or "2").
  • Current Temporary or Term Army Civilian employee with competitive status - If you are a current Department of Army employee on a temporary or term appointment (current SF-50 block 24-Tenure states "0" or "3") who has previously held a Career or Career-Conditional appointment in the competitive service.  You MUST submit a copy of your non-award SF-50 that reflects your highest grade held on a permanent basis (Block 24-Position Occupied must be "1") where block 24-Tenure MUST be a "1" or "2", along with your application/resume package).
  • DoD/Non-DoD Transfer employee serving on a career or career-conditional appointment - You must attach your most recent non-award SF-50 as proof of eligibility.
  • Appointment of Certain Military Spouse, E.O. 13473 - Spouse of a member of the Armed Forces serving on active duty who has orders specifying a permanent change of station (not for training); OR a spouse of a 100% disabled service member injured while on active duty; OR the un-remarried widow or widower of a service member who was killed while performing active duty. You MUST submit a copy of your spouse's PCS orders, or VA disability rating, or DD-1300 and Death Certificate, as applicable with your application/resume package.
  • Reinstatement - Former Federal employees who attained Career status on a permanent, competitive Federal appointment. If the person was a Career-Conditional employee, reinstatement eligibility generally applies 3 years after separation unless an exception in 5 CFR 315.203(b)(3) applies.  Applicant MUST submit SF-50 showing prior status as proof of eligibility and reflect Tenure 1 or 2 in the competitive service.
  • Veterans Employment Opportunity Act of 1998 (VEOA) - A preference eligible or a veteran who separated from the armed forces under honorable conditions.  Applicant MUST submit a DD214, Certificate of Discharge, as proof of eligibility.
  • Executive Order 12721 - Worked as an Appropriated Fund Federal employee AND am a family member of an appropriate sponsor (a Federal civilian employee, a Federal NAF employee, or a member of the uniformed service) while serving in an overseas area. Applicant MUST submit a copy of most recent non-award SF-50 and performance appraisal.
  • Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) eligible - To be eligible for ICTAP consideration, you must be displaced or scheduled to be displaced, through no fault of your own, from a permanent competitive service position. A complete list of required documents can be found towards the end of this document.
  • NAF Interchange agreement eligible - Currently serve on a NAFI or Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) position without a time limitation, or I have been involuntarily separated from such an appointment without personal cause the preceding year; AND, I have been serving or have served in such a position continuously for at least one year. Applicant MUST submit a copy of your most recent personnel action form and a prior personnel action form which will reflect at least on year of continuous service as a NAF/AAFES employee along with your application/resume package.
  • OPM Interchange Agreement eligible - Currently employed as a permanent career or career-conditional federal employee in the excepted service for an agency that has an interchange agreement with the Office of Personnel Management.  You must be continually employed for 1 year or more without a break in service or involuntarily separated from such appointment without personal cause within the preceding year and have met the 1 year service requirement.  You MUST submit a copy of your latest non-award SF-50 that reflects your highest grade held on a permanent basis.
