TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

LOCATION: 159TH FW, NAS-JRB, BELLE CHASSE, LA

This position is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Flying Wing, Financial Management. Its purpose is to perform as the Leader, over three or more GS-07, employees, within the Accounting/Voucher Examining Function, carrying out the full range of responsibilities associated with recording commitments, obligations and disbursements of both commercial and travel transactions in the general accounting system.

 

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION EXPECTED NOT TO EXCEED 180 DAYS AND MAY BE TERMINATED AT ANY TIME AT THE DISCRETION OF THE APPROVING OFFICIAL.
