About the Position:

 

The surrounding community is comprised of the towns of Leesville, DeRidder, New Llano and Anacoco. The nearest larger cities are Alexandria (45 miles northeast) and Lake Charles (55 miles south).  The area is considered rural with the Kisatchie National Forest, Toledo Bend Recreation Site, North & South Toledo Bend State Parks, Vernon and Anacoco Lakes located nearby for those interested in fishing, boating, swimming, hunting, camping and other recreational activities.
