The Management Analyst position is located in the Competency Administrative Branch of the Admin Support Division (7.1.3) at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD. The Division is committed to providing services and support using the Competency Aligned Organization (CAO) approach of organizing competencies and executing work through teams. The Division is responsible for providing functional/analytical expertise and consultative services to senior managers in defining and facilitating implementation of personnel management functions (ex. actions in support of on-board civilians including performance management, compensation, recruitment, staffing, employee recognition and awards, and downsizing initiatives). Assists managers in defining position actions that are consistent with and supportive of human resources management objectives, plans, and policies. Provides liaison with cognizant NAVAIR Total Force Strategy and Management Department and Human Resources Service Centers (HRSC) to resolve emergent issues and obstacles and facilitate timely execution of civil service position actions.
