This two-year term Program Analyst position is for the OAR representative to the NOAA Program Coordination Office. The first half of this period will typically be based in Silver Springs MD where the incumbent will support the OAR office of Policy, Planning, and Evaluation (PPE). The second half of this period will typically be based at the HCHB Building in Washington D.C. where the incumbent will use their knowledge of the elements and procedures of OAR's research and development portfolio to support the NOAA Program Coordination Office.
This is a full time TERM appointment not to exceed two (2) years, may be extended up to a total of fours (4) years. This position does not confer competitive status. This position is covered by the Department of Commerce (DOC) Alternative Personnel System. This system replaces the federal GS pay system and structure.
