The primary purpose of this position is to manage the Command Assessment, Internal Review, Management Internal Control Program, Hotline and Fraud, Waste and Abuse Programs.  These programs are mandated by a higher authority to provide a Command methodology for assessing performance against standards; verifying compliance with laws and regulations; and detecting and correcting deficiencies, improprieties or inefficiencies.  This position is part of the Command & Staff Directorate (100) of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast, USN, Pascagoula, Mississippi.  Providing direct support to the Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor of Shipbuilding in the areas of executive office administration, Internal Affairs, Internal Review, Management Control, Command Assessment and Special Projects.
