U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is the largest command in the Army and the Army's Force Provider to joint combatant commanders worldwide. FORSCOM combines the contributions of more than 750,000 Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and active component Soldiers with those of more than 15,000 Army civilians to form a seamless, winning force that operates as a team across services, components and units.
Fort Bragg, one of the largest military complexes in the world, is located just west of Fayetteville, NC. Home of the Army's only Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, the elite Special Forces and the Army's largest Support Command.
Fayetteville is located in the sand hills of the state about four hours from the mountains and two hours from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Numerous first class golfing venues abound and the area also has full range of outdoor activities like camping, boating and fishing.
The Accountant position is located at the Headquarters, U.S. Army Forces Command, in the Office of the Commander, Deputy Commanding General/ Chief of Staff, Internal Review Office (IRO). The purpose of this position is to serve as an agent of the Commander on accounting, financial, and managerial issues that require examination by a financial professional.
