Fayetteville, NC is situated in Cumberland County amidst piney woods and pleasant rolling hills. The climate is ideal, including seasonal changes that offer a glorious spring, a warm and sunny summer, a splendid autumn and a mild winter. It is a growing community 2 hours drive from the beach and 5 hours from the mountains. More than 300,000 residents made Cumberland County home in 2005. It is the home of one of the world's largest military complexes.
