About the Position:

 

Backfill - Encumbered Position

This position is located in the Robertson Blood Center at Ford Hood, TX. The blood center is manned by Soldiers and civilians in an office and clinical environment. You can expect to develop good working relationships with team members while developing blood program recruiting strategies. You will work with military unites, post staff and individuals to recruit blood donors to meet the blood center and DOD needs. The Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) plays a key role in providing quality blood products for Service members and their families in both peace and war. As a joint operation among the military service (Army, Navy, Air Force), the ASBP has many components working together to collect, process, store, distribute, and transfuse blood worldwide.
