A DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) career offers you an opportunity to work in an award winning organization and to serve our Nation and those who defend it worldwide. DFAS provides payment services for the US Department of Defense. As an Accounting Technician for DFAS, NAF Financial Services you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities. You will maintain assigned subsidiary ledgers. You will determine that all transactions are properly processed and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables. You will analyze and review reports assuring that all actions adhere to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures.
