This position is located in Alexandria, VA (approximately 6.4 miles outside of Washington, DC).

This position is located in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Benefit Redemption Division, Retailer Operations Branch.

Specifically, the Retailer Operations Branch oversees system development, web management, help desk operations, data analysis, and provides operational support for all staff involved in SNAP retail management functions.  Staff works with the Office of Information Technology, contractors, and Regional/Field stakeholders to document business processes, identify re-engineering opportunities, and implement solutions that improve the effectiveness of program management.  The Retailer Operations Branch is responsible for several systems that are considered major investments for the Agency; this announcement seeks to fill the program-area project managers for those systems.  These are Program not IT positions.
