JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Serves as a Budget Analyst in the US Military Observer Group – Washington (USMOG-W), performing a full level of program analysis of budgetary operations in support of the Secretary of the Army’s Executive Agent responsibility for deployment of Individual Augmentees to the United Nations missions worldwide. Work consists of selecting and using many different and unrelated analytical techniques and methods relative to substantive agency programs with widely varying needs, goals, objectives, work and processes. The assignment involves budget and travel policy, formulation, planning, execution and evaluation.

 

NOTE: Position is a GS-11/12 and can be filled at any grade level.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is 5 percent.

Must be able to maintain and obtain a Secret clearance.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) is not authorized.
