This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary, National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The goal of NPPD is to advance the Department's risk-reduction mission. Reducing risk requires an integrated approach that encompasses both physical and virtual threats and their associated human elements
The incumbent serves as the principal advisor to the Under Secretary and directs the functions of budget, budget formulation (out year program development) and financial, programs in all Directorate management offices, including those resident within Office of the Under Secretary, Office of Infrastructure Protection, Office of Cybersecurity and Communications, US VISIT Program, and the Federal Protective Service.
