JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

This position is in the Office of The Chief of Staff Army, General Officer Management Office, Senior Leader Development Operations. You will be required to interact with top level civilian and military management officials on a daily basis. This is a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines that must be met. If you are looking for a challenging professional position this is the job for you.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized,

based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.

 

Who May Apply:

Current Army employees with career or career conditional status in the competitive service.

Current DOD federal employees with career or career conditional status in the competitive service.

Veterans eligible under VEOA and VRA.

Reinstatement eligible former employees of the federal government.

Those eligible under ICTAP or Executive Orders 12721 and 13473.

Those eligible under Office of Personnel Management  Interchange Agreements.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance at the Secret level.

Required to travel for business at least 10 percent of the time.
