Fort Rucker is the home of the US Army Aviation "Center of Excellence" and is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama. Cities immediately around Fort Rucker include Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round activities to include boating, fishing, golfing and hunting. Fort Rucker offers an abundance of recreational family activities and is located only 1-2 hours from some of the most popular Florida beaches.
