The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) is a consolidated health care system that includes VA medical centers in Montgomery and Tuskegee Alabama as well as Community Based Outpatient Clinincs in Dothan, Alabama and Columbus Georgia. The primary duty station for this position is at the Tuskegee Campus. The incumbent will be required to work on site at the other locations as required.

The physician position is the Medical Director in New Horizon Community Living Center (NHCLC), which encompasses oversight of all NHCLC activity in collaboration with the ACOS/GEC&R and the ACN/GEC. The incumbent also serves as the physician for the Spinal Cord Injury Outpatient Clinic. The NHCLC physician director is accountable and responsible for all health care delivery to veterans in the CAVHCS NHCLC s well s Spinal Cord injury veterans.
