The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) is seeking a Quality Management Specialist who can contribute to the improvement of the delivery of safe quality patient care while having a creative approach to the management of complex clinical and administrative health care issues. He/she is responsible for data collection, planning, scheduling and coordination of Quality Management (QM) and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives independently and in concert with the priorities of the Chief of QM, the ACOS for Quality Assurance, the Quality Improvement Council and the Executive Leadership of VAGLAHS. He/she is administratively responsible to the Chief of Quality Management. This position is not open to novice nurses.
