Position Summary:

A vacancy exists for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Medical/Oncology/Telemetry Unit (5 North).   The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as an assistant to the unit Nurse Manager in providing leadership and direction to nursing staff.  He/she is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice; demonstrating leadership in nursing care and nursing personnel on the designated unit and as assigned for the Medical Center on the off-tours, weekends, and holidays.

Hours:   Primarily eight hour day shift and other shifts as needed 


KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.
  • Must pass pre-employment examination.
  • Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.
  • Background and/or Security Investigation required.
