Your salary and grade will be determined by the Professional Standards Board (PSB).  The PSB is a peer review process.  The PSB will review your individual qualifications, education, professional training/internship(s) and professional experience to determine the most appropriate salary and grade based on your individual accomplishments.

Position Summary:

The Director for Education and Training executes leadership that is characterized by substantial and continuous responsibility and accountability for population groups or integrated programs that cross service and/or discipline lines, influence organizational mission and health care, and has responsibility for outcomes.  The Director for Education and Training, VISN 19 MIRECC in Denver is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating a comprehensive education and staff development program for the Center that is in compliance with JC Standards, Department of Veterans Affairs policies and guidelines, regulations and criteria form outside agencies, and is dynamic in nature in order to meet the continually evolving needs of the organization.

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm  

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

U.S. Citizenship

Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.

Must pass pre-employment examination.

Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.

Background and/or Security Investigation required.

English Language Proficiency required.
