Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Manages technical and administrative functions of ATC facility in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.   Serves as the ATC Chief and the Installation Air Traffic and Airspace Officer, responsible for the operation, supervision, coordination, and administration of the assigned ATC facility and 15 of its personnel.   Functions as designated Control Tower Operator and Examiner.   Is the AT&T expert on special military operations and is in compliance with National AT&T Program.   Conducts Obstruction Evaluations and formulates Letters of Agreement with airspace users and develops local policies and procedures of air traffic control and airspace usage.

A secret Clearance is required,

A drug test is required.

A physical service is required.

A CTO-Examiner License is required.

Must have or be able to obtain a FAA Certification.
