The BLM manages more land - approximately 253 million acres - than any other Federal agency. This land, known as the National System of Public Lands, is primarily located in 12 Western states, including Alaska. The Bureau, with a budget of about $1 billion, also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estates throughout the nation. BLM is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team at the White River Field Office (WRFO) as the project manager for the Piceance Oil and Gas Planning Project to amend the WRFO Resource Management Plan (RMP).
