The VISN 8 Office is physically located in St. Petersburg, Florida.  About 21,700 full-time VISN employees are committed to providing Veterans with a full range of quality, cost effective, medical, psychiatric, and extended care services including specialized programs like Spinal Cord Injury and Polytrauma rehabilitation.  in 2009, more than 523,000 Veterans received their health care at VISN 8 facilities, more patients than any other VISN in the nation.
