Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Ft. Gordon is in Augusta, GA home of the Masters Golf Tournament & the Signal Center. It is approx. 142 miles E of Atlanta, 80 miles SW of Columbia SC & 122 miles NW of Savannah, GA. Ft. Gordon is an easy drive from Atlanta, Savannah, the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.

 

Who May Apply:

 

. Current Army Civilian Employee serving on a career or career-conditional appointment.

.  DoD Transfer (Excluding Army) (i.e., Air Force, Navy, DECA, DFAS, etc.)

 

.  Non-DoD Transfer (i.e., VA, Dept. of Labor, Dept, of Interior, CDC, etc.)

 

.  Reinstatement eligibles.

 

.  NAF/AAFES Interchange Agreement eligibles.

 

.  Applicants eligible under Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA)

 

.  Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) eligibles.
