The mission of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.

This position is located in the DOL, OSHA, Honolulu Area Office, in Honolulu, HI. A 12.25% Cost-of-Living Allowance will be added to the salary range above.

The employee supervises a group that includes safety and occupational health specialists, industrial hygienists, safety engineers and administrative employees. The employee is responsible for leading investigations which are the most difficult, technically complex, and sensitive in nature, and for monitoring programs administered by the State under Federal grant arrangements.

The full performance level of this position is GS-13. This position is outside the bargaining unit. Relocation expenses will not be paid.
