The position is located in the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (JBVAMC), Chicago, IL and serves as an EEO Program Manager in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Employment, the Civil Rights External Programs, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Diversity Management for the medical center director, management, and employees. In this capacity, the incumbent serves as the principle advisor to the JBVAMC Director on EEO program matter. Advisory service range from explaining procedures and regulatory requirements to advising on complicated problems for which there are no established precedents or guideline. Provide advice to all levels of management on matters relating to EEO, especially as it relates to EEO programs, policies, discrimination complaints, and other procedures within diverse areas of responsibility. The incumbent will be required to travel to servicing CBOC location to oversee the EEO program.
