JOB SUMMARY:

The mission of the National Finance Center: To design, develop, implement and operate, cost-effective, financial, administrative, and management information systems and services supporting missions of the USDA and its customers.

This position is located in the Office of Chief Financial Officer, National Finance Center (OCFO/NFC), Government Employees Services Division (GESD), Payroll/Personnel Operations Directorate (POD).

THIS IS AN EXTENSION OF THE CLOSING DATE TO SEPTEMBER 25, 2012.  APPLICANTS WHO APPLIED UNDER THE ORIGINAL POSTING NEED NOT REAPPLY, BUT WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS POSTING.

Area of Consideration: Applications will be accepted from current, permanent competitive service employees of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), New Orleans.  This includes the Controller’s Operations Division (COD), the Associate Chief Financial Officer for Financial Systems (ACFO-FS), and the National Finance Center (NFC).

 

Selected employee will work a fulltime tour of duty, however, the organization's hours of operation are currently under review.
