This position is located in the Office of Regulatory Compliance, Vice President of Research Division, at the Uniformed Services University.  You will serve as the director for the institutional review board office by managing the privileged and confidential institutional review and approval process of all proposed research activities involving human subjects to protect their safety, rights, and welfare.  You will also serve as an ex-officio member for the institutional review board (IRB) committee and interpret and apply federal and state laws, regulations, institutional policies and guidelines to protect human subjects and to ensure institutional compliance.
