This position is within the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) 6.0 Logistics and Industrial Operations Competency, Aviation Readiness & Resources Analysis Dept (AIR-6.8), Logistics Product Data Division (AIR-6.8.5). The selectee is tasked to provide competency and technical assistance to competency personnel on matters relating to Logistics Product Data through all phases of the life cycle including initial design & development, test & evaluation, and fielding & sustainment. The selectee will interface with the leadership within all programs to identify and resolve technical or personnel issues. The selectee is responsible for the supervision of civilian employees, and therefore must possess strong leadership, management, communication, organizational and life cycle logistics technical acumen. The selectee is directly responsible for all supervisory functions commensurate with this position. In a technical capacity, performs special projects as assigned by AIR-6.8.5 Competency Manager with primary focus of technical data and configuration management logistics.
