This position is the Naval Air Systems (NAVAIR) Command Security Manager (CSM).  The selectee serves as the Deputy supporting the NAVAIR Security Director (AIR-7.4) and manages the overall tactical operation of the Security Department functions. This position organizationally resides on the Security Dept. Staff (AIR-7.4A), Corporate Operations (7.0), Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, Patuxent River, MD. The CSM oversees and coordinates diverse provisions across a range of organizational management functions required to ensure the smooth and efficient tactical functioning of the NAVAIR National Security program. As the recognized expert for the Security Department for Continuous Process Improvements and business operation functions and issues, the selectee works collaboratively with other Security Departments/PEO (Program Executive Office) representatives, executive level managers and representatives of the command, where services are provided to conduct a continuing analysis of the functions and processes.
