This position will be filled on a Detail or Temporary Promotion basis, not to exceed 6 months, and may be filled on a rotating basis and/or may become permanent. 

 

This position will be filled as either a Biologist (0401 series), Microbiologist (0403 series), Biomedical Engineer (0858), Electrical Engineer (0850), OR a General Engineer (O801). 

 

The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical and administrative supervision to a staff responsible for evaluating applications for investigational device exemptions (IDEs) to determine the safety and effective for new and/or improved medical devices.
