This position is located in the Department of the Navy, Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251) of the Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft Programs in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Manager is responsible for the overall management, direction, control and integration of all program efforts involving support and funding for numerous Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) system procurement and modification efforts including planning, scheduling and monitoring the system design, development, test, evaluation and production. Ensuring establishment, implementation and execution of effective quality assurance, production control, configuration management and logistics support programs; flight deck certification; and providing the operating forces of the Navy, Marine Corps and foreign customers with properly configured and supported Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) systems.
