This position is located in the Logistics and Industrial Operations Group, Industrial and Logistical Maintenance Planning/Sustainment Department, Support Equipment (SE) Division, Aviation and Weapon Support Equipment Branch at Naval Airfare War Center Aircraft division Lakehurst (NAWCACDDIV Lakehurst). It serves as the NAVAIR Lakehurst program spokesman and advocate on logistics program matters for assigned avionics, propulsion, ground handling, armament, electrical, cryogenic, and hydraulic systems peculiar support equipment for Fixed Wing weapon systems. These are complex systems involving many technical/program decisions and all major DoD/Service/operating forces/components. The selectee will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned system(s). This includes Logistics Element Managers (LEMs); Deputy Assistant Program Managers, Logistics (DAPMLs); Logistics/Maintenance Managers; Inventory Managers; Weapon System Managers and Data Managers at NAVAIR and field activities. He/she will direct the efforts of the logistics management support team in accomplishing acquisition logistics support, as required, and producing planning documentation which normally includes Acquisition Logistics Support Plans, Logistics Requirements Funding Summary, Maintenance Plans, Provisioning Technical Documentation, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Manuals, Navy Training Plans, Supply Support Master Plans, SE Logistics Program Milestone Schedules and Site Activation Plans.
