The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients at the Northern Plains Region Aberdeen Area, Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt, North Dakota.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION:  Positions will be filled at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Northern Plains Region, Aberdeen Area Office, Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Pharmacy Department, Belcourt, North Dakota.  Interested applicants should check with the local Medical Officer-Clinical Director, Deputy Chief Executive Officer or Chief Executive Officer concerning the status of immediate employment needs.

Salary range: $81,823.00-  $106,369.00  (Annually)

 

Promotion potential:  GS-13

 

Merit Promotion Position: YES

 

Travel Required? YES--Occasional travel is required for this position.

 

Supervisory/Managerial Position: YES--(This is a Supervisory Position): You may be required to serve a one year probationary period.

 

Relocation Expenses Paid:   YES--Travel & Relocation Expenses WILL BE Paid in the interest of the government and not in the interest of the selected employee.

Is government housing available? YES (Depending on Availability).

 

Is this a bargaining unit position? No (depending on position).

 

TOUR OF DUTY (40 Hour work week)?  FULL-TIME / PERMANENT; MAY HAVE:  Alternative work schedule, call back, standby, rotating shifts, nights/weekends/holidays.

 

If applicable, This position requires that you obtain and maintain clinical privileges. If they are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee may be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from the Federal service.
