WHAT DOES A FRONT-LINE MANAGER DO?As a Front Line Manager, first level supervisor, you will be responsible for assigning, directing, and reviewing the work of subordinate employees. You will use your leadership skills and management techniques for planning, scheduling, and coordinating work operations, planning and carrying out the training and development of employees, evaluating employees' work performance, and in performing all other related administrative functions. Generally, you will direct the work operations of subordinates performing administrative, complex clerical, technical and/or work comparable in nature. The functions, activities, and services provided may have limited geographic coverage and support activities within specific agency program segments.
WHAT IS THE MODERNIZATION & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (MITS) DIVISION? The mission of Modernization & Information Technology Services (MITS) is to provide leadership in the delivery of information technology solutions that anticipate and meet enterprise-wide needs by empowering employees to deliver customer-centered, value-creating systems, products, services, and support.
There are 3 vacancies that may be filled in either Memphis,TN (TN0005), Martinsburg,WV (WV0151) or Martinsburg, WV (WV0198). Tour of Duty could be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, 3:30pm-12:00am, or 11:30pm-8:00am OR Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-4:00pm,3:30pm-12:00am or 11:30pm-8:00am, OR Sunday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, 3:30pm-12:00am, or 11:30-8:00am.
