This position is located at the Fort Hood Directorate of Logistics Transportation Division
Fort Hood is nicknamed The Great Place and rests in the beautiful "hill and lake" country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove. Fort Hood is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, 150 miles north of San Antonio and 200 miles north of Houston. All of these cities and those in between offer fine shopping, dining and nearly anything else you would want to do. Central Texas is the ideal location for outdoor activities. There are two lakes nearby, Belton and Stillhouse, which provide year round outdoor recreation activities particularly if you enjoy boating, camping, fishing, etc.
