JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser (General) in the Installation Management Command, West Region, US Army Support Activity, Legal Division, Admin/Civil Law Branch for Fort Sam Houston.

About the Position:

 

Independently provides the approach and develop the solution to legal problems in accordance with applicable regulations, guidance, and precedent laws. Decisions and recommendations made in regard to assigned areas are considered to be authoritative within accepted Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) policies and legal precedents. Supervisor is available to discuss unusual or precedent-setting legal questions, if required. Overall work product is evaluated based on timeliness, responsiveness, and validity of legal advice.
