This position is located in the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General (DoD OIG), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). OPR conducts investigations of OIG employee integrity, allegations of employee misconduct; allegations of waste, fraud, abuse and mismanagement; and other investigations as the Inspector General directs. OPR inspects OIG programs, operations, policies, practices, and procedures to determine managerial, operational, and administrative effectiveness of OIG Headquarters component, regional office, or field office. OPR is also responsible for the OIG internal controls program, and for organizational performance measurement, improvement and reporting consistent with the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and related law and regulation. The incumbent of this position serves as the Director for Performance Management, with independent responsibility for OIG performance assessment and reporting and related program and process design and planning;  internal controls; report production and review; and for internal policies and procedures.
