About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQDA, ODCS, G-2, CI, HUMINT, DISC & SEC Dir, Security Division, Washington, DC.
Incumbent provides support and assistance to the Security Division in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff,
G-2. Incumbent assists in developing, writing, coordinating, and approving Security policies, programs, operations, and initiatives. Duties require the incumbent be thoroughly familiar with the Divisions missions, objectives and programs. The individual must be knowledgeable of internal workings of the organization, the status and nature of professional staff assignments, and the role played by the organization in the overall security and Army Staff mission. The position is established to support management and/or program analytical functions of the Security Division.
