Position Description
Sells Suddenlink telecommunications services to business clients and is accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals. Prospects for new clients and makes initial contact by cold-calling either in person or by phone. Follows-up, prepares service proposals, makes client presentations and sees the sale through to the signing of a contract. Maintains on-going relationships with existing clients. Seeks and acts upon client''s feedback regarding satisfaction. Is responsible for client retention, and cross selling and up-selling to existing clients. Works independently in the field 70% of the week or more and uses own car for extensive local travel.
Position Requirements
Principle Accountabilities:
*Sells telephony, data and video services to business clients.
*Prospects, cold calls by telephone and in person to generate new sales opportunities.
*Develops and maintains relationships with clients.
*Learns about the communication needs of business clients and provides solutions to meet those needs.
*Develops and delivers proposals and presentations to prospects.
*Negotiates pricing, service level and terms and conditions with clients.
*Performs ROI assessments to determine if sale is profitable and submits to his/her manager for approval.
*Maintains client satisfaction through and following the sale.
*Performs serviceability checks.
*Keeps accurate, detailed customer information updated regularly.
*Saves customers intending to cancel.
*Interfaces with other departments regularly to assure an appropriate level of support for our customers.
*Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, exhibits, customer appreciation events and other promotional events, etc.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
*Bachelor''s degree in a relative field preferred
*Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience (data, video, or telephony preferred)
*Consultative sales experience preferred
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
*Strong people and relationship management skills
*Working knowledge of MS Office products
