Job Description:


This position can be done on a remote basis in the midwest or southwest near a major airport.

The Account Executive is responsible for managing a geographically-based portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for defining, researching, prioritizing, processing and tracking client service requests. Communicating consistently and proactively with clients, the Account Executive role is responsible for leading the sale of add-on products and services as well as client contract renewals & negotiation, always providing excellent customer service and effectively managing relationships.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
· Survey client base and provide written client status reports to management.
· Meet established quotas for selling add-on business.
· Visit clients onsite on a regular basis.
· Create written account plans.
· Participate in the client buying process as directed
· Support the technical needs of clients not requiring programming changes to the system.
· Recommend, schedule, document, execute and verify processing changes.
· Verify appropriate billing of clients.
· Monitor daily production status and respond proactively.
· Assure client service level agreement and Fiserv EFT operating standards are met.
· Hold regional training classes as required.
· Negotiate client contract renewals.

REQUIREMENTS:
· HS Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred.
· 3+ years experience in the financial services field required, preferably in a sales/account management capacity.
· Knowledge of network operating rules, plastic card requirements, PIN generation methodologies and related vendor relationships preferred.
· Knowledge of card management, on-line security, settlement and processing system parameters strongly preferred.
· Previous project management, EFT, bank/credit union operations or data processing experience strongly preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
· Ability to effectively prioritize issues.
· Ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability.
· Ability to effectively interact with all levels of clients and Fiserv EFT staff including C-level management.
· Highly motivated and self-assured; hands-on problem solver.
· Solid computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).
· 50% travel required.
