Position Description

JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision the Suddenlink Account Executive I (Commercial) sells select telecommunication services to business clients and is accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals. This role will focus on our small/medium business portfolio. Cold calling our existing and potential customer base to purchase/upgrade Suddenlink services on Coax/Gepon platforms.

ILLUSTRATIVE ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
 Sells video, data and telephony products to business clients with primary focus on new customers.
 Meets or exceeds corporate/system sales goals
 Prospects, cold calls (by phone and in person) and generates new sales opportunities
 Develops and maintains strategic account plans
 Develops proposals and presentations to deliver to customers and prospects
 Ensures client retention and cross-sells and up-sells to existing clients
 Works with Sales Engineer, Operations, Construction and IP Engineering to determine appropriate solutions for commercial customer opportunities
 Understands the needs of the local business owners and provides solutions to meet those needs
 Ensures product pricing is consistent with pricing structures set at the corporate level and competitive environment
 Performs ROI assessment for profitability and submits for approval
 Processes client disconnect orders
 Ensures customer satisfaction throughout sales cycle
 Maintains database information and customer records in a timely manner
 Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
 Computer skills including Windows-based applications
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
 Strong people and relationship management skills
 Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
 Ability to analyze accurately with attention to detail
 Ability to work independently and with others
 Ability to comply with all Company safety procedures
 Appropriate valid drivers license and driving record within Company standards
 Bi-lingual proficiency preferred in some locations

WORK EXPERIENCE
 Minimum 1 year commercial sales experience in B2B environment preferred
 Consultative selling experience preferred
