Join this large insurance company in Southwest Houston and become a part of a dynamic team! They are seeking 2 accounts payable specialists who have experience with invoicing, working with vendors, and has great overall customer service!

These are 6+ month assignments with the possibility of becoming temp-to-hire positions for the right candidate.

You will process accounts payable for corporate accounting and related subsidiaries and issue payments to vendors. The position will also be responsible for maintaining accurate historical records for all accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities include:
Generating invoices, payments, and adjustment reports
Answer all vendor inquiries
Charge invoices to proper general ledger accounts
Set up vendor records with 1099 information
Ensure timely payment of invoices to avoid late fees and past due notices
