JOB SUMMARY:
Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Houston, TX (downtown)Job Functions-Performs daily cash receipts application-Gathers info, upload and manually enter transactions-Balances all entries to daily bank file, review bank archives for completeness-Files all daily posting reports for cash application balances-Perform month-end reconciliations to ensure deposits of all funds-Provides Accounting with journal entries-Ensures compliance with all key company controls (Sarbanes-Okley)Requirements-Bachelors in Accounting/Business/Finance -Minimum 3 years Accounts Receivable experience in the Energy & Gas Industry -2-5 yrs. experience in processing cash receipts -Proficient in MS Excel and Access, Platinum and Lodestar-Strong attention to detail, able to apply critical reasoning to gather info to resolve issues-Communicates professionally, strong organizational and time mgmt. skillsIMPORTANT-Those interested and qualified should email the recruiter below with a Microsoft Word attachment of their resume.-Any application submitted directly to this posting will not be considered.-Only resumes outlining the listed requirements will be reviewed for this position.
