About the Position:

This position is located at the Black Warrior & Tombigbee Project Office in Tuscaloosa, AL.  The Project is one of the largest Corps of Engineers projects in the nation and includes Navigation, Hydropower, Recreation & Natural Resources responsibilities. The Project encompasses 758 miles of navigable waterway, nine locks and dams, two hydropower plants, four natural resource management offices and 62 Corps operated recreation areas.  Project operations have far-reaching effects on marine transportation, industry, mining, energy supply, hydropower, natural resources, recreational opportunities, and the environment.  Tuscaloosa, Alabama is a vibrant city of approximately 100,000 people located in West Central Alabama.  Tuscaloosa is home to the University of Alabama and is centrally located to numerous local, state and federal parks and recreation areas.  Nearby attractions include art galleries, museums and sporting events.
