The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) is a consolidated health care system that includes VA medical centers in Montgomery and Tuskegee Alabama as well as Community Based Outpatient Clinincs in Dothan, Alabama and Columbus Georgia. The primary duty station for this position is at the Tuskegee Campus. The incumbent will be required to work on site at the other locations as required.

Central Alabama Veteran Health Care System (CAVHCS) is seeking a BC or BE Physiatrist with interest in Neurorehabilitation, specifically, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), SCI, and stroke. There also will be involvement with inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient-musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Duties include:
CAVHCS Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation service includes 10 bed CARF accredited inpatient rehab program (CIIRP), Outpatient Rehab clinics, the disciplines of Audiology, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Kinesiotherapy, and special programs such as, Pain Clinic, Amputee clinic, Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury clinic.
